The idea for this site grew from the hours we've spent surfing the web for current river information. A typical 'work day' involved checking online reports, stream flows, weather reports, emailing info requests to friends, and maybe calling a shop or two. While we do generally enjoy some of that research, it eventually gets old and often pushes into river time by delaying departure.
Our goal here is to publish useful information. By 'useful' we mean content that is current, reliable, detailed and entertaining. Any success we have toward that goal will be the direct result of user input and feedback. Please drop us a line with reports, suggestions, complaints, links, or anything else you feel like sending.

In essence, we hope you're able to cruise the inside picking off nutritious bits at your leisure, while the exhausting torrent of dilute and inaccessible junk rushes past in the channel.
